Bartlett

EAST LANSING, Mich. — (SCENE) Metrospace presents an evening of music featuring marimba player Nathaniel Bartlett. The event will take place Thursday, January 25 at 7:00 PM, and promises to richly reward the adventurous listener. Doors open at 6:00.

Nathaniel Bartlett specializes in serious Western art music of our time on an instrument of our time – the modern marimba. The focus of his repertoire is on 3-D, high definition, computer-generated sound projection. Through the use of a high-powered computer, other electronics, and a cube of eight high-definition speakers, he is able to project and move sound anywhere in the performance space – a unique sensory experience, total immersion in sound.

Visit www.nathanielbartlett.com for further details.

This event is all ages, smoke- and alcohol-free, and open to the public. There is a $5 admission for the event, and donations are encouraged. Space is limited.
